The last ferry off the island for this time of year will be 10:00pm, which means if you depart the reception around 9:00pm and have a reservation on the 10pm boat, you would likely make it in time. This will drop you off in Anacortes around 11:10pm.

The rooms in our room block will not appear in the online search, please call directly and speak with reservations to reserve the rooms within our room block. If you'd rather book one of the available rooms online, please call the reservations desk to have them add you to our group.

We're unfortunately only able to accommodate guests directly mentioned in your invitation. While we love all of our friends' children, we will be hosting a child-free wedding day. You're of course welcome to bring them with you for the weekend, there are loads of fun activities for kids on the island! We just request that you arrange childcare for the ceremony and reception.

We want this day to be full of fun, dancing and merriment! Please feel free to wear your brightest colors, fun patterns, whatever makes you feel ready to party. For festive, formal attire think formalwear with suits and jackets in any color, nice cocktail dresses, and bonus points if it's within our color scheme of pinks, oranges and reds. If you feel better in a tux and ball gown, heck, we're not going to stop you!

Once you reach the Roche Harbor Resort, look for the signs directing you to the sunken garden. The ceremony will take place in the garden, followed by cocktail hour on the patio outside of the pavilion which will host our reception. The average high is 61F with a low of 48F, and generally only 4 days of rain in the month of May. If it rains, we have an indoor ceremony option, and the reception will be indoors no matter what! The San Juans are in a rain shadow created by the mountains and Vancouver Island. This results in the islands receiving about half the rainfall of the Seattle area, and averaging 247 days of sunshine per year. Finger's crossed for a sunny day!

The Roche Harbor Resort is a full-service resort with historic and contemporary accommodations, gardens, restaurants, stores, as well as a large marina and spa. The Hotel de Haro is the oldest continually operating hotel in Washington state, with historic relics around the marina from the times when the area was a lime works. With three restaurants to visit, a distillery to tour, bocce ball and tennis courts, as well as direct water access, or a spa for a day of massages and relaxation, we're sure you'll be able to find ways to pass the time!
